2026 NADR CONFERENCE SEssion

This informative session provides a practical overview of the Social Security Administration’s Ticket to Work (TTW) program and explains how Employment Networks (ENs), advocates, and community partners can work together to support disability beneficiaries pursuing employment goals. Through real-world examples and program guidance, the presenters break down how the Ticket to Work program operates, how beneficiaries access services, and how partnerships between representatives and Employment Networks can create long-term support systems for clients.

Recorded on March 24, 2026 in Plano Texas

Participants will gain insight into how TTW services help beneficiaries navigate the transition back to work while maintaining access to critical benefits counseling, employment support, and ongoing case management. The session explains the differences between traditional Employment Networks and Administrative Employment Networks (AENs), outlines payment structures within the TTW system, and discusses how partnerships can benefit both representatives and the clients they serve.

The presenters also discuss common misconceptions about Ticket to Work, practical considerations when working with beneficiaries who are hesitant to attempt employment, and ways to integrate TTW resources into a disability practice. By the end of the session, participants will have a stronger understanding of how TTW programs function and how coordinated employment support can improve long-term outcomes for Social Security beneficiaries.
